The Vladg and Tokyo Dawn Proximity lets you change the mic placement AFTER you record. Pretty useful and pretty cool.

In this brief guide, we've shared how to install VST in Adobe Audition, so you can take advantage of virtually any audio plug-in on the market. Short for 'Virtual Studio Technology', VSTs give you access to thousands of third-party plug-ins online, and many of them are free to download.
Whether you're looking for a cool delay effect, a realistic reverb, or a vocal de-esser, there's a VST for any situation imaginable. Adobe Audition supports VSTs on Windows and Mac platforms, as well as AU (Audio Units) plugins on Mac.
How to Install VST in Adobe Audition
1. First, you'll need to check that VSTs are enabled within Audition. If you haven't used VSTs before, they will be disabled in the program by default. Go to 'Effects' > 'Audio Plug-in Manager' to load a dialog box with various plug-in settings.
2. Choose the VST Plug-in Folders tab, and click on 'Add' to specify a custom folder for your VSTs. If you select 'Default', it will revert to your operating system's default plug-in folder.
3. Then, go to the Available Plug-ins tab and choose 'Scan for Plug-ins'. This ensures that any plug-ins that you've recently installed or copied into the dedicated folder will be added to Audition. If a plug-in is not supported by the software, it will be listed under the Unsupported submenu.
4. Finally, choose which VSTs you actually plan to use in Audition, and deselect the other plug-ins, so that you conserve CPU power. You can always go back and change the list, depending on the project.
