  1. We're currently conducting systematic tests with the release version of macOS 11 (Big Sur) in order to offer full compatibility of our products as soon as possible. You can find our latest compatibility status - here

Please note that although announced at the same time as macOS Big Sur, Apple Silicon processors are an independent release with separate compatibility concerns for NI products. Compatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors. At the moment, Native Instruments products are not supported on computers with Apple Silicon processors. Read more - here

Maschine Plugins Problem Solved 'Could not load 1 or more plugins' (Mac Users) - Duration: 5:14. « Something went wrong loading VST plugin » (FL STUDIO MAC) Hi! I just downloaded today the Alpha FL Studio 12 DAW for MAC because i wanted to try it but i have this problem. This article provides detailed information on VST plug-in installation paths on Windows. Click here to switch to VST plug-in locations on Mac OS X and macOS. Click here to switch to Locations of internal Cubase and Nuendo plug-ins. First of all, it is important to understand that not all VST plug-ins are being installed into the same folder. In Studio One you simply load Melody Sauce as a VST channel onto its own MIDI track, and then route the outgoing MIDI from this channel to another channel with your chosen software instrument track. Choose your key, mood and complexity options and speed settings to generate customised melodies to fit your project and you’re ready to create.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I access my Legacy SONiVOX Account?

The new sonivoxmi.com utilizes new user account management. Recent purchase information can be found here (findmyorder.com) Legacy SONiVOX account information can be found here.

Are SONiVOX plug-ins compatible with OSX 10.7 (Lion)?

Generally speaking, Lion is not fully compatible with SONiVOX at this time. Apple has made a significant number of changes to OSX affecting how software is installed and how plug-ins are validated in Lion. We are working to make sure our product line is compatible however running Lion is currently not recommended.

Will SONiVOX work in my DAW?

The majority of our plug-ins run in any compatible VST or Audio Unit host. We are compatible with Ableton, Cubase/Nuendo, Digital Performer, Fruity Loops, GarageBand, Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, Sonar, and more. The only exception is Vocalizer, which requires that a host be able to route MIDI to an audio plug-in. Please contact us if you have a specific host-related question.

Can I use my MIDI controller or keyboard with SONiVOX?

All of our plug-ins will respond to MIDI Note messages received on any MIDI Channel. If your MIDI Controller sends MIDI Note messages and you can plug it into your computer, you can use it with SONiVOX! This includes USB MIDI keyboards, traditional workstations with MIDI Out, USB Drum/Finger Pads, and more. Additionally, many parameters can be assigned to a knob or other continuous controller. Please contact us if you have a specific controller-related question.

How do I authorize my software?

By default, your software will run in Demo mode until it is authorized. If your computer is connected to the internet, authorization takes seconds. Just go to 'Internet Activation' and enter your serial number (with spaces) in the dialog box.

If Internet Activation does not work or if your computer is not connected to the internet, you will need to use Manual Activation. Go to 'Authorize', 'Manual Activation', 'Save License File'. Save this file to your hard drive. If necessary, move the file to an internet-connected computer. Then attach it to an email, put your serial number in the subject line exactly as it appears on the registration card and send it to licenses@sonivoxmi.com. You will be emailed back an authorized license. Download the attachment, launch your product, go back to the manual authorization windows and click 'Read License' then select the license file that was sent to you.

How many authorizations do I get?

The software will allow 2 activations. If you require additional authorizations please contact our support team.

Why doesn't my software show up in my host?

Most DAW/Hosts will automatically add our software to your list of available plug-ins. If you believe something went wrong it is helpful to check the following:

Are the plug-in files located in your plug-in folder?

Mac

  • AudioUnit - /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components
  • VST - /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST
  • RTAS - /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/RTAS

PC (32-bit)

If you do not find your SONiVOX plug-in file in these folders, try reinstalling the product. If the plug-ins are in the correct folder but still not available within your host, you may need to activate it within your host's preferences panel.

Why does my software crash before it even opens?

This is most likely due to not having PACE extensions installed. This can be corrected by downloading the latest PACE drives from their site: http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html

When I play, why is the sound distorted?

Most modern computers can handle our plug-ins without issue or sound degradation however you may run into playback issues if you are using a PC with an older or non-ASIO soundcard. Make sure the plug-ins/hosts output is not running through MME. Otherwise, try raising your buffer settings to put less strain on your CPU/audio driver. If you are using Eighty Eight you can also try changing the disk streaming buffer inside the settings dialog.

Why am I not getting any sound?

Something Went Wrong Loading The Vst Plugin Fl Studio 20

When you install SONiVOX, you are asked to choose a specific location for the application file, and another location for the sample content. If the plug-in can’t read or is otherwise unable to find the samples, you won’t get any sound.

First, try running the included 'Fix Configuration' utility installed with your product. On the Mac this is installed in the 'Applications/{Product Name}' folder. On the PC you can access this utility via Start --> All Programs --> SONiVOX --> {Product Name}. You will be asked where you installed the sample content to on your hard drive. If that fails, you should try to uninstall and reinstall the program.

Why can’t I load any of the sounds from the 'Samples' folder?

The samples folder only contains the raw files necessary for each preset (.SVX file) to load and provide a complete instrument. Therefore there is nothing that the plug-in will find to load in the 'Samples' folder. If you click 'Load Preset' and navigate to the Samples folder, it will appear empty.
