TYRELL N6 CORDERO
Originally released as part of The Unfinished International Women’s Day sale, Cordero is a collection of 90 free patches for u-he’s TyrellN6 synth.
- Software Synthesizer Tyrell N6. If you ever used virtual synthesizers by software developer “U-HE”, e.g. Zebra, Diva or Repro-1, you knows that Urs Heckmann and his team do a damn good job. Together with german audio magazine “Amazona” they created another great plug-in called “Tyrell N6”.
- U-he’s reputation for quality synths is up there with the best. Their paid-for offerings Diva, Zebra and Repro have all received rave reviews for their huge sound and powerful sound design options. Now you can get in on the action for free with their synth plugin Tyrell N6.
- Amazona.de and u-he released version 2.0 of TYRELL N6, a free VST plugin available for MAC OS and Windows. U-he did some improovements and added a chorus that emulates the chorus of a Roland Juno-60.
- Size 7.31 MB / 12.8 MB The Tyrell Nexus V2 is a virtualanalog synthesizer. Its features are those that we may expect from a vintage synthesizer like the Juno series from Roland.
- While this virtual analog subtractive synth might feel a bit old-school, it’s got brilliant sound quality for a free synthesizer. Based on a design similar to Roland’s classic Juno 60, this free plugin for Linux, Mac and Windows PC is a great addition for leads, keys, bass and effects.
TyrellN6: Classic racer with u-he engine. TyrellN6 is a compact, sporty synth. Based on concepts and ideas for a hardware synth: a few modules, novel features, analogue sound and low-cost. TyrellN6 is the software version manifestation of these ideas. Available as a free download exclusively from the German online magazine Amazona.

The second free soundset of The Unfinished Retro Synth Summer is for u-he’s free Podolski synth.
There are 30 free patches that explore some simple, classic and dynamic synth tones with a little hint of the retro about them.

How To Install Tyrell N6
An eclectic selection of beats, from cinematic, through ethnic and glitchy, to full on dancefloor-ready rhythms.
The very cool free cross-platform synthesizer TyrellN6 has just been updated to version 2, Now 3. I’ve been wanting to post about Tyrell N6 for a while, so this update is a great opportunity to show it some much deserved love.
TyrellN6 was created by Urs Heckman for Amazona.de, a German music production magazine. Originally the concept was for a low-cost hardware analog synthesizer in a similar style to a Roland Juno 60. It wasn’t long before they realized hardware takes a very long time to develop and Mr. Heckman of u-he software stepped in to create a virtual version in just a few weeks.
TyrellN6 is by far one of the best free virtual analog synths out there now. The latest version gets a visual style overhaul and a 3-mode chorus function that sounds really fat, very much like the vintage hardware.
TyrellN6 V2 is VST and AU for Mac and Win.
